Russia: Nevskie Berega St. Petersburg Review 2019

Another great competition has been organized in St. Petersburg last weekend. The Festival of Beauty "Nevskie Berega" is a very prestigous competition in 2 categories. It's an official WBA Contest supported by the World Bodypainting Association. We congratulate the winners and we are expecting them also at the World Bodypainting Festival in Austria in July 2019. If you are interested in jointing the Russian Competition, please feel free to contact us, we are always there. Nevskie Berega is twice a year, the next event is from 21 - 24 November 2019.

Croatia: Contest by Croatian Tattoo Convention 2019

As part of the Beauty Hair & Expo Fair from 9th - 10th March 2019 the WBA Croatian Bodypainting Competition will be held in Zagreb Croatia.

The Competition will be held in 2 categories and according to WBA rules.

WB Academy programs ready!

The most comprehensive, educational and training programs for Bodypainting, SFX and Airbrush including the increasingly areas of Make-up and Photography.

Traditionally during the pre-week leading up to the World Bodypainting Festival from 7 – 10 July 2019 the WB Academy offers more than 50 classes with international well known and awarded instructors. These classes are held in small groups which have limited space, so it is recommended to book well in advance.

WBA member Marta Gejdošová presents Charity Calendar

Marta Gejdošová – make-up artist, bodypainter, hairdresser comes from Slovakia. She has been working in beauty business for almost 20 years. She runs her own beauty salon SHARMANT, she is the main make-up artist of the musical Cats at the theatre Nová Scéna Bratislava, she cooperates with various media and TV. She is the author of two books about beauty “Beauty doesnʼt have to be a coincidence”. She also works as a beauty and image lecturer.

Kirgistan: International Beauty Championship 2018

The capital of Kirgistan, Bishkek has extended their big beauty show.

It becomes the center of the Championships for masters of beauty in Central Asia. The event is held from 12^th - 15^th October 2018. A very special competition during the show is the make-up competition "Purple Brush Award" which was first introduced at the World Bodypainting Festival 2017 in Austria.

Latvia: Baltic Beauty Week Riga 2018

The Baltic Beauty Week is the largest beauty event in the baltic states. The Int. Stylist School Biruta Magele and the Stylist Association are organizing a bodypainting and a styling competition in November 4 - 6 2018.

Ukraine: Review of the Ukraine Bodypainting Award 2018

For the first time, the Ukrainian Bodypainting Award 2018, sanctioned by the WBA took place in Kiev. 4th of August, international crowed of artists came a long to the very artistic location called "Art Platform" in the Ukrainian capital.
