The “BodyZone” is a program running annually in the festival week run by the World Bodypainting Associaiton. Artists from around the world travel to Seeboden each year to take advantage of the best gallery for bodypainting in the world, the “World Bodypainting Festival”®. Many of these artists also use other forms of art to express their ideas.

Each year “BodyZone” will present work from artists within the WBPA who use bodypainting and the body in all ranges of visual art and performance art. We aim to bring artists together from countries around the world to work together and to show as many kinds of body art as exist within our international membership.

In 2005 the “BodyZone” presented the group exhibition titled ‘Bodypainting- Another Expression’ with over 20 artists from 5 countries. The exhibition was a great success with a bumper opening night with live music and performance.

The program for 2006 is already on the way, with a live performance on Saturday night of the festival week on the main stage. ArtColour ballet from Poland will perform a half hour bodypainted ballet .

On Thuesday, the 19th of July 2005 we opened the exhibition "Bodypainting. Another Expression" at 7.00 pm.
The exhibition was a premiere and organized for during the festival by Karala Barendregt.

The exhibition showed works of artists from the World Body Painting Association, who interpretered the human body and extensions of bodypainting themes in different mediums.

22 artists showed paintings on canvas, sculptures, art photos and videos. Arround 200 visitors came to the vernissage and another 300 visited the exhibition on the upcoming two days in the culture hall Seeboden.
