Alessandro Piva alias Luna Nera, is a guy from Padua born in 1977, a real lover of drawing and painting.
His career started in “Pietro Selvatico” School of Arts of Padua where Alessandro started to understand the philosophy and the sensitiveness of the artist.
In the course of time Alessandro dedicated to airbrush, stimulated by his wife Chiara who is always attending him, and started to gain some important satisfactions like the Textile Design first place in the Air Brush Show 2002.
Alessandro, already keen of nude and erotic photography, deepened his knowledge of body painting opening more and more his mind on the marvellous world of art always keeping his airbrush activity.
The decisive turning point happened in July 2006 with the participation to the World Body Painting Festival where he met the foreign artistic realities. By this way he realized that Italy, although is the arts cradle, is not enough open minded to understand this sector of arts.
From that day Alessandro dedicated to study and to body painting technique’s evolution in order to try to create emotions in the public every time he is painting on a model.
Still now, his airbrush activity is leading him to collaborate with a variety of sectors:
From car body-shop to motorcycle industries, passing through pastry store where he holds courses for pastry decorators up to his old school of arts where every year he organizes courses for students during the Arts Week Festival.
