Hi, I'm Christy George. I'm 28 I am so excited about joining the WBPA and networking with other members in Europe and the world! I live outside Pordenone Italy, about an hour from Villach. I have been drawing and painting on myself and others since I was a child. I started doing theatre makeup 14 years ago in High School. I always found myself doing my makeup and everyone else's.
Last October, I took a hiatus from being a housewife and mother and went to Hollywood and went to makeup school for film and television. It was awesome! I learned awesome things. I took up the airbrush for the first time and feel in love. It was my favorite course. While in class my teacher recieved a brochure of the bodypainting festival in Austria. He was reading it outloud and said he was dissapointed that he couldn't go. I took it and saw that it was an hour from my house and knew that I was going to attend and participate.
I have been the resident makeup artist for the local community theatre for 3 years and have combined character makeup and body painting. In the current production I get to airbrush tattoos on a cannibal character. It is soooo fun! I have plans and designs for the festival and am currently hunting down the materials.
I thank you for creating this group and putting in your time and effort to make it beneficial for the members and giving them an outlet for their creativity.
